A unique classifier that carries powder particles on an air flow and passes them through a screen.

To classify powder particles into the required sizes (a process called classification), there are two common methods: using a screen (sieve) and using air flow to classify based on differences in specific gravity (air classification machine). It is not feasible to achieve 100% or a mixing ratio of 0% with an air classification machine, and a vibrating sieve cannot handle large volumes due to issues like clogging. The "Micro Shifter" is a unique classification machine that allows powder particles to pass through a screen while being carried by an air flow. The newly developed fan-less type (NF type) incorporates a specific gravity sorting mechanism, achieving higher precision classification.
